Tras el anuncio de la SNES Mini en América, Australia y Europa; Nintendo ya anuncio también la existencia de una Super Famicom Mini para el mercado japonés, y como también sospechábamos, la lista de sus 21 juegos es distinta a la del SNES Mini.
Estos serán los 21 juegos que incluirá la Super Famicom Mini:

- Super Mario Kart
- Super Mario RPG
- Super Mario World
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
- Super Metroid
- Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Al igual como paso con el NES Mini, la lista de juegos del Super Famicom Mini no será totalmente distinta a la del SNES Mini europeo y americano, diferenciándose por 5 juegos: en la Super Famicom Mini tendremos en exclusiva Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyūshutsu Emaki en Japón), Super Soccer (Super Formation Soccer en Japón), Panel de Pon (que llego a América como Tetris Attack) y Super Street Fighter II. En la lista americana y europea, tendremos en su lugar a Earthbound, Kirby’s Dream Course, Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Castlevania IV y Super Punch-Out!!. Fuera de su diseño y la lista de juegos, la Super Famicom Mini será igual que la SNES Mini y también incluirá 2 controles.
La Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom llegara a Japón una semana que la SNES Mini, este 5 de Octubre, a un precio de ¥7,980 (aprox. $71 dólares).
