Sabemos desde el año pasado que la AEW se encuentra trabajando en su propio videojuego de lucha libre con el fin de hacerle competencia a la WWE y su serie ‘WWE2K‘.
Gracias al retail ‘Xtralife’, apareció durante varios minutos la supuesta portada oficial del videojuego que llevaría el nombre de ‘AEW: Fight Forever‘. La portada se destaca por incluir a varios luchadores conocidos como CM Punk, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Jade Cargill y Britt Baker.
La presencia de CM Punk marcará el regreso del peleador a un videojuego desde que apareciera por última vez en WWE2K 15. Poco tiempo después se retirará de la compañía para dedicarse a la UFC.

Por otro lado, AEW: Fight Forever apunta a un lanzamiento en consolas de pasada generación (PlayStation 4), y plataformas de actual generación como PS5, Xbox Series, Switch y PC. Parece ser que no habrá una edición para Xbox One.
The game’s roster has yet to be revealed outside of a few stars, however, after an AEW event earlier this year, the audience was asked to chant the names of several stars to be included in the game.
Chants reportedly included “Sting”, “Adam Page,” “Bay Bay,” “Dax, “Cash”, “Boom” and “FTR”, suggesting that Adam Page, Sting and tag team FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) will be in the game. This cover reveals at least five new faces for the list.
The debut video game for the upstart rival to WWE is being developed by Yuke’s, the Japanese studio previously responsible for the WWE Smackdown / WWE 2K series from 2000 to 2018.
